Hello all!  

Happy Veterans Day and a huge thank you to all of those who have served 

and continue to serve this country, including my Dad-in-Law who served in the Vietnam War.  

Captain (not a military title, but there is a great story behind his nickname for "Grandpa"),

thank you for all you have done and continue to do for our family 

and what you have done for your country!

And speaking of people we appreciate, the following couple, featured on Green Wedding Shoes, 

were some of the kindest, most joyful, absolute pleasure-to-work-alongside 

people we have ever had as clients.  

Seriously, they were SO. MUCH. FUN.

There are so many incredible details in this wedding 

that Kaitlin and Chad (as well as Chad's dad) personally worked on, 

check out the amazing bar they built out of a fallen tree trunk!!!!!  

We have waited for a while for this one to be featured and we are so glad it is now,

in the Fall, just over a year since they said their I do's.  

Kaitlin and Chad, congrats on your year anniversary!!!!

Gorgeous flowers at Firestone Winery on Wedding Chicks today!

And just because I am obsessed with amazing flowers...check out the ivory-peach peony on the table....it is hard to tell the size of that darn thing...but you can tell in the next photo... (yes, it was bring your son to work day :)  ). The crazy peony is the size of my son's head!!!

Hello all...

Long time no...blog...

Well, in this crazy industry that we work in, there are definite seasons and crazy months.  Last year it was Fall.  October nearly sent us to the looney bin.  This year it was June....so many events squished oh-so-cosily into one month.  Well, we have come up for air, so we have some fun posts coming along from the past few months....

We work hard, long hours and deal with lots of .... trash and maybe even more recycling.

I just got back into town yesterday at midnight....well at least my body is back in Santa Barbara.  

My brain is somewhere in some time zone that I am not quite sure of.  

It better get here soon as we have an incredibly busy weekend around here! 

Back in SB, we were delivered a fun surprise today....

Genetics

My family has been doing a little investigative research

 as I get ready to head across the pond- TOMORROW!  

(Must...start...packing....). 

 Apparently there are probably some long lost relatives in Ireland and England.... :)  

Back stateside, my mom came across this little gem.

A little Style Me Pretty for your weekend!

Happy weekend all!  

We are heading off to Lancaster for some soccer....

I know you are all a little jealous of the exotic locale... ;)  

As crazy as it may sound I am really hoping we get to spend Saturday AND Sunday there 

(my oldest son is in single elimination rounds of Cal South's National Cup and, well, 

I do love watching the boys win a good soccer match! ;) ).

Happy National Margarita Day! Oh...and a fun feature on Style Me Pretty!

Happy National Margarita Day All!

I do love a fabulous Blood Orange Margarita. :) Besides the ones my husband makes 

(seriously- he might be the best Margarita maker I know), 

San Ysidro Ranch's Blood Orange Margarita and Mango Habanero Margarita are really spectacular. 

And speaking of Margaritas....they served some pretty fabulous Margaritas 

at this lovely wedding that we had so much fun doing design and floral for last fall. 

Jenni and Alan were so much fun and so lovely to work with! Congrats you two!

Happy (Belated) New Year!

Hello there!

Some how 2013 has fully gotten underway and I only managed to take down the darn Christmas tree this past weekend! (Extreme fire hazard anyone???)
